It was more than a year ago when client contacted us and requested an offer for an implementation of Order Manager module of SimCorp Dimension. We agreed with a scope of our services that consisted of:
- Preparing network architecture
- Setting up network connections (VPN, firewall rules, routing) in cooperation with local client’s IT team
- Setting up Oracle database schemas, MS SQL server and corresponding SimCorp Dimension configuration
- Creation of FIX connection setup
- Delivering the configuration to preparing DEV, UAT and, after successful testing, PROD environments
Our offer covered the whole scope of the implementation and turned out to be more attractive, compared to an offer given by SimCorp. The client decided to purchase the Order Manager module from SimCorp without implementation part, which was left to us.
After 3 months since the implementation started, the client singed off tests and decided to move the configuration to the production environment.
